MS Walk 2009

This is a video of Zack, Nicole, Madison, Kenzie and Colton at the MS Walk on April 11th. The website: iwalkbecause.org helps those who cannot attend the walk feel as though they are a part of the walk and can see the difference that we are all trying to make. Our team logo was the MS fighters so the kids decided to say that they are fighters and it is the reason that they, and all of us were walking that day. We hope that there will be a cure for MS in the near future, not only for our very own Mike Cravens but for all those who are affected by MS.

Homemade Wheat Bread

Ever since I attended one of my good friend Jackie's bread making class, I have been determined to never buy store bought bread ever again. I do not have my own wheat grinder yet, (although I will be getting one soon) so I had Jackie grind me some wheat (thanks Jackie). Here is how my first batch turned out. It was a great success! Not as good as Jackie's but good enough to continue making. It probably could have been better if I had the fancy Bosch mixer but until my Kitchen Aid blows up, I will continue to make it this way.

Babysitting

We got the opportunity to babysit our little nephew, Trey, overnight on Saturday, April 4th. As being the Auntie, I got to spoil him by giving him this yummy sucker. He is enjoying this a little too much. We had so much fun with Trey this weekend and can't wait for him to come over again.
