Our Yard Sale for the National MS Society was a great success!!! We made $600.61!!! It was AWESOME!! We had a lot of people come to help, and a lot of buyers that came to buy. We sold almost everything. We only took Scott's truck and Mike's truck to Deseret Industries with all of the items that didn't sale. It was so much fun and felt so good that the money is going to a good cause. Thank you everyone who came to help and support!

MS Fighters
We are doing a yard sale at our house (3397 South 2700 East) tomorrow, March 28th from 9am-2pm. All of the proceeds are going to the National MS Society in honor of Scott's brother, Mike, who was diagnosed with MS almost 2 years ago. If you can come, please do!!! This is our team logo and shirt that we will be wearing for the MS walk on Saturday, April 11th. For more info, I have attached a MS link just under CUREMSUTAH.ORG (which is the Utah MS website)if you want to get more information about MS or the walk in Salt Lake City, UT.
Happy Birthday Michael!!!
Uncle Michael (which is what our kids call Michael, Jennifer Ellen's husband) had his 35th birthday on March 25th. We missed the party but made up for it the next day with this yummy homemade chocolate cake with chocolate icing. We love having Michael as a part of our family. Here's to many more years to come.
Kenzie's 3rd Grade Science Fair Project
Kenzie had her first Science Fair Project in the third grade. She put nails into different liquids and over a one week period we watched to see which liquid produced the most rust on the nails. We put the nails in Diet Pepsi, water, Hydrogen Peroxide, Rubbing Alcohol, milk and orange juice. Water made the nail rust the quickest but it was kind of gross with the Diet Pepsi. It not only rusted the nail, it ate away at too. GROSS!!!
It was a pretty fun project! I can't wait for next year with Colton's Science Fair Project! It is a mystery what we will do.

Here is Kenzie blowing out all 9 of her birthday candles. She turned 9 on March 2nd. Yep, that's right only 2 days after Colton's birthday! It is so fun to have Colton and Kenzie's birthdays so close together!! Colton loves being the same age as Kenzie for 2 days, he feels so grown up. Kenzie doesn't like it that much though. She likes being the older sister.

Colton turned 8 years old yesterday (February 28, 2009). I can't believe that our baby is 8!!!! We had 10 boys and 2 girls over for a birthday party and played lots of games. This game is where you are blind folded and use a spoon to transport as many cottonballs from one bowl to another. It looks easy but is actually pretty hard. The cottonballs are so light that you can't tell if you have one in your spoon. The most cottonballs that anyone had moved into the empty bowl, was 2. It was really fun to watch an empty spoon be put into the empty bowl over and over with the kids thinking that the spoon was full of cottonballs.
We had the fun opportunity to see Celine Dion in concert at the Energy Solutions Arena on February 22, 2009. We had the tickets since they went on sale in November of 2007, so it was a long time coming. It is the second time we have seen her in concert and we still love her. She has such an AMAZING voice!! We did have some additional entertainment this time though. We had this guy in front of us that had long hair and was just rockin' out to Celine Dion. We just laughed and laughed. Who knew that Celine Dion was hard core rock 'n' roll?? We must have missed the memo. It was really fun seeing him rock out though. Lots of fun memories!
